Rogue Valley Flyers is a model aviation club located in Josephine county Oregon. Founded in 1976, we welcome aviation enthusiasts of all types to come fly with us. In addition to yearly dues of $50, we only require that you be a current AMA Member and bring a positive attitude. Our runway is constructed from compacted decomposed granite and will accommodate most types and sizes of models (excluding turbines).
The Rogue Valley Flyers Club is currently involved with the Grants Pass Boys and Girls club mentoring the youth about the principles of aeronautics, also offering on-hands remote control flying experience at our flying site.
We are soon to have other youth in our community, such as church youth groups, and also to have the local Valley’s Boy Scouts involved.
We will be participating in the Memorial Day weekend Boatnic Parade with a float presented with remote control aircraft for display, for the purpose of promoting our club to the people of the community.
