PAU SU-26M
A few months ago I became the new proud owner of this PAU SU-26m. This is going to (hopefully) be my IMAC plane for 2023 Currently the engine mount it set up for a DLE60 but my plan is to shoehorn in and EME 70 twin. Going to take some remodeling the front end. Plan is to rotozip the existing (grey block) mount out and replace with fresh insert from 3/8" ply with another 1/4" ply backing. Getting the engine mounted and then the cowl drilled correctly seems to always be the most challenging step even with a new plane. This remodel should be interesting.

Update on the front end. The surgery went well but I did manage to screw up the thrust angle a bit when clamped down unevenly on one corner of new firewall. Of course it all looked perfect when the epoxy was drying but after I got the clamps off of course it was off a tiny bit.....but thats what washers are for
